for the most part this is pretty easy. you sew some blocks. do some top stitching. crochet on top of the top stitches. join the blocks. I did two rounds of hdc, then joined with a flat braid join.

5-6

I got a new job titles HBA Lead. I was Home Lead, and aslo everything else they wanted. With this reworking of the store i have been told that i will only be working in my area . and i will now have a list of things that i need to get done. So im full time now. then he said full time can be as little as 30 hours. I've been getting twenty so i will take 30 and thats the least amount that they can give me a week.

Toby and I have also been to two concerts with in two weeks. And our car isn't up for the challenge of going to grand rapids that often. Toby's mom let us use her car, which is really cool of her. so im going to give her a little more crafty goodness for mothers day. the towels, clothes, and the quilt.

i spent about two months on and off with this project. and i think it turned out great. much better then the last couple that have been to big or too small. this time i think i started the collar in the wrong place. but that just mines different from all the rest and Odd is cool.

Modified Plank
Modified Pushups
Squats
Modified Side Plank
Elliptical Trainer

that was my workout for today. since i'm just starting up again. my reps were not many. i can only hold my plank for 5 seconds. squats were the easiest thing in my list. I did 10 minutes on my elliptical at 30 speed, and 315 distants, and burned 80 calories.

i'm going to try working out after i wake up every mon, wed, fri. sparkpeople.com gives me the list of exercises that i must do. and i get to choose the cardio.

i got an order for a cupcake purse. i just have to get the yarn and i can get started. while i'm makeing the one i may as well. make as many as i can from the yarn.

I picked up this book simply sublime bags at the library i love it so much i want to buy a copy. i made my first bag from the book. its huge.

i love making new things.

but what i don't love is how my skirt turned out. but i'm going to keep it as my first clothing item sewn. just like i have my first knit scarf and my first crochet scarf.

sew happy

my sewing machine and I have not always been friends. I've used it a couple of times over the past year. an every time i use it, the thing jams. the thread breaks, i can't keep it at the same speed so it looks crazy.

well i needed a little break frome yarn. and didn't want to do wire or paint. so i pulled out my sewing machine and two tees.

I used two t-shirts. one whole and just the bottom half of the other.

i think it took me about three hours to make. i used this pattern
jordy bag as my guide. I added a pocket made out of a sleeve

it went so smooth today. i think i might try to make another soon
