woo this post is way to wordy and rambin and such

ok so this all started off with me surfing cut out and keep. i saw these really cut paper flower. But I don’t have pretty paper then I remembered seeing fabric flower like that on craftster. But I didn’t know what they were called so I couldn't find them. so on to Google keyword fabric flowers. i got lots of different kinds but I was looking for what after ten minutes of crazy searching i found out was called Tsusami Kanzahi. So I looked at all these different sites for tutorials that were easy to follow. Ehow was not the place they just tell you in words which doesn’t help me. So I went to the great and powerful YouTube and found this video. The girl in it I think her name is Sara; she was so cute and fluttered at times that I kept me watching her video above all others

her blog

 Ok so the first two I made where crazy messy. I just had to redo them. Then I followed the advice in the video and ironed my fabric, I don’t have starch so I didn’t do that. But the flowers after that turned out great.  It could have been the iron or the fact that I just practices making them for an hour.

i wanted to use up some of my crazy shape and little pieces fabric stash. So there is cotton, canvas, satin, fleece. I have a never ending bag of (fake/plated) gold and silver buttons so I used those. I like the silver more so yea. I found that the buttons will sink to the center of the flower. The only way that I have found to stop that is to sew a little circle on top of the center and sew the button to that. then you sew a clip, bobby pin or whatever to the back.

as im sure you can see this cat bed is way to small. i have no idea what size cat the person who made this pattern had. or my cat is just to fat i don't know. my other cat dexter can fit in it. i not sure if she like it or not. she like to sleep in uncomfortable places like toilet seats, piles of paper, table, drawers full of knitting needles.

the quilt top that killed two needles. i got kinda upset with this one. I wanted to try to machine sew a quilt. my machine is very tiny and cute like a my first sewing machine . i just don't think it was made for this. so i had to make sure the two seams weren't stacked on top of each other. and even then the machine/I hade a hard time going over the seams. so i looked up this issue and im a puller, which is a bad thing i guess but i taught myself to sew. so i dont know how to just guide the fabric i've tried and its a crazy hot mess. so i will just have to see what happens when i add batting and backing. a machine fire, fabric being eatten, my finger being sewn to the quilt.

the to small red and blue scarf , the blue was turned into a cat bed. so that was frogged. still working on the scroll scarf. i should be going to joanns today so i can get the yarn to the shawl.
k bye

a little about my hair

Hey that1girl,

You have amazing hair. do you have a fotki or journal I can check out? any tips for battling dryness as it gets longer? I do protective styling and have homemade and natural products I like but I feel like they aren't doing the trick now that it's longer than 10 inches. My ends get brittle and breaky despite my best efforts to keep it covered/tucked in! If you have time to share your regimen I am curious to know.

thank you, but the pictures don't show everything. i have really dry hair to i just spray it every other day or wash it. i have split ends and not, but i don't let them get me down.

I have been using a spray bottle with olive oil, peppermint oil, rosemary oil and water. then i top that with watered down conditioner.
i try to drink more water, but i never remember. I'm not sure if it helped or not but i was a vegetarian for the past 5 years. an i never really wear my hair out that often. i hate dangling after a nice afro week.

i want hair down to there

the other day i was helping a woman with a chair or something. she told me how much she loved my hair. i thanked her and commented on hers. then she says to me, you should think about sister locks. I told her that i just dont think i would like them. i like to change my hair alot.

I love my afro,i love my puff, twist, braids, maybe flat ironed hair once i get the nerve( and hope it doesnt melt my hair ). I think that the woman didn't really like the messiness of afros. because her locks were all in place, and overly glossy. maybe thats just how they look. but my twist are never that shiny for more then a day.

~~~~~~~~
I wash my hair put water in my hair everyday. somedays its just shower water. somedays i use my mix. it has tea tree oil, peppermint oil, rosemary, olive oil,condionder, and water. i found the recipe on http://motowngirl.com/ i cant find it right now.
i condtion my hair now about twice a week. I do it before i go to work. because if i do it before bed my hair gets stuck in crazy directions, or flat to my head.
I try to deep condition at least twice a month. An while its DCing i detangle and change my style. I'm very boring with my hair now. because i work 4am-10am i only see customers for 2 hours a day. I love twist they are so easy to do while DC.
Braids are great to show how long your hair is . and they last alot longer even with frizz and fuzz. i'm not crazy about frizz i was my first two or three years. now im just like it happens its what natural hair does.
I shampoo my hair once a month. i'm using the Herbal Essences Totally Twisted. I love it. it really takes away my frizz and shows my curls. the shampoo doesnt dry out my hair as much as other products. I also use the mouse if i want to really show off the curls and show people how beautiful natural hair is.
people also ways ask me what i used, if i have some kind of texturizer. and i just say shampoo and mouse. then you get the oh my hair cant do that. well just try it, your hair is you and you well love it, if you go natural. I haven't really got anyone to go natural i think . but they say that they would try it.
my little sister has this disorder where all of her hair fell out. and it wasnt growing back for a really long time. but its growing now. and its looking good. the last time i went to visit her. she shows me her TWA and shes all proud of it in the house. she like look dominique i think my hair curls like yours. It might even look better then yours once it grows. so i'm proud that she loves her hair. but she still wears her wigs in public. on step at a time.
I was hoping to have bra lenght hair. but it just didnt happen this year. i think that it may have been all of the dying that i've been doing. I love color, so i'm not sorry that i did it. just how often i did it may have been the issue. i have about 4 inches of undyed hair. so i could cut off the rest. but my boyfriend says that i dont look my greatest with short hair.
I canceled my nappturality.com membership. it was only 5$ a month but i wasnt even on that site but a few times a year lately. but can still look at the hair help. i only really liked the craft section. but theres always craftster.org
well i think thats all
