I used pattern 2317

I wanted to make something for my boyfriend. last summer a friend and i found this bacon and egg fabric at the thrift store.

I went with the size medium which is a size 43 hips, his are 40 and the small is 39.this was a mistake it was way to big.

 

 

So i went down to the size small. i reduced the waist band 2 1/2. and for my pair i did a 3 inch inseam. His pair he wanted to his knees.

i didn't have enough fabric for the whole thing so i chose gray fabric. the love fabric has glow in the dark words

yarn- Lion Brand Wool-Ease Solids, Heathers, Twists in natural

needle size - 8, 10

its a pretty easy lace pattern. a quick and fun knit pattern. i might make another

yarn- red heart super saver in purple tones

needle size - 8

the pattern is easy enough but i really didn't like working on these much. the thumb hole is in the middle so they can be flipped to have the ruffle/flare part on top or bottom

yarn- Knit Picks Comfy Fingering Weight in flamingo

needle size- 2

 

Kayla said not to much pink so of course it makes me want to find all the pink left overs in my stash. but for real I'm going to make stuff in other colors later. these sock were easier and more fun then adult socks

 

recipe these cookies are not sweet at all. but there better then that bread. and Toby likes them so that's a win

I was asked to make three hats. a hot pink unicorn with a rainbow mane, a green Mohawk with a blue hat under, a purple sock monkey. they are all ear flap hats. I will start these after the sock

 

my sister asked me to make her a hat and flip top mitten set.

 

then i will start on the things from my list

 

i also want to make some more items for my other sisters baby shower

 

In other news

 

my boyfriend surprised me with a trip to Chicago. the whole thing came about for a foxy shazam show on the 30th. before that we went to the science museum.

the next day we went to the field museum . and saw fireworks in the sky deck.

the last day we went to the planetarium and aquarium

Toby and I picked up the cup at the thrift shop. I painted it with washable paint bad idea. so i sprayed it with matte paint. that still didn't stop it from rubbing off. so now this cup is just a show piece. I made it for Toby.

these are my Wayne county fair ribbons. blue first place, red second, white third

sadly not many people entered the fair this year so that first place ribbon i was the only person to enter that category so yea. I think i will still enter next year to try for a real blue ribbon

I think I'm going to make mines very scrappy. what you do is make fabric squares then crochet around them and sew them together. it seems like an easy way to make a lite quilt

toby helped me make a duct tape dress form. it took about two 15yd of tape i really should have got three

also i was feeling depressed for a little while and toby my loving boyfriend ordered me gifts. and it came on the day the i needed it most.
