quest bag love

ok, im on a quest to find a pattern for a crocheted shopping bag. thats easy right. but i want one that doesn't stretch to my knees when its full. and in most of the patterns they try to sell this as a good thing. im not sure why, maybe i'm just odd.

i tried to make up my own pattern but it just looks like a basket, so i stopped. i'm going to frog and try a real pattern.

yesterday i worked with metal. i got a few things worked on. not finished just worked on.

i work on my birthday isn't that just sad. i mean i wasn't going to do anything, but still goodness. so i got a new job. i wanted this job to be right after i got off work at kmart. but that didn't work out. i'm working nights. so im missing all of my craft groups. and toby is already getting tired of driving me around. which i why he should have the second job not me. he is working on getting a better job so that i don't have to work two.

ravelympic list

These are my first pair of knitted socks. they are DK weight and knit on size 5 needles i think. they started off good. but after i put them in the washer they got bigger. i let them air dry and every thing. oh well. they still kinda fit. and i still like them

the birds are ready for action. they just need a second color, eye sewn on and to have pins or hair clips sewn on. the red and blue bird is what one looks like on step two.

Time for the next round of madness that is the Ravelympics. This time we’re “gathering” in Vancouver, Canada during Feb 12-28, 2010. Goal: 2 weeks of focused, intense personal & team challenges to tackle while watching the actual Olympics unfold before our eyes.

well i think thats enought on my list for now. i know that im not going to finish all of this i would be surprised if i even finish half of it. i took all of them from my ravelry page. if an item had been frogged then i just counted it as a new item. most of those WIP's im not even sure where they are. i like to start a lot of thing and i just dont finish them. sometime it just gets boring.i like new things no matter what it is.

Knit: I'm working on a bear for toby for Valentines Day. I found the pattern on ravelry, it really easy. once i learned how to work with the double pointed needle.


Food/diet: I brought a book a couple of of days ago vegan with a vengeance. I went food shopping and got 160 worth of food. I tried not to buy many items with cheese or milk ingredients but that’s nearly impossible. I got lots of vegetables, fruit, tofu and other good things. I want to make tons of food. I will share the good recipes.

Life: why didnt anyone tell me how expensive fed ex is. I mailed my mom the purse i made with a gift card and twenty dollars, it cost me 8$ to ship that. and it was only .21 pounds.
