ok so i was thinking sewing up stuffed animals has to be quicker and easier then knit/crocheting them all. well i tried to make monsters and they just didn't turn out well at all. i kinda feel ashamed to even give these to the kids. this was kinda my first go at this. and i did it with out patterns. so maybe i shouldn't be so hard on my self. my first couple of knitting projects didn't turn out all that great.

You're definitely being too hard on yourself.
You did it without patterns and that's a feat in itself. Learn from the first try, then jump in there and do it again.
